On September 19, 2020 the International Reggae Afro Latin Music & Arts Festival (IRAL) decided that it was necessary to bring some entertainment and formally introduce itself virtually. Please enjoy the full performance of the Yaadies! Yaadies is an eight-member family band that consist of well experienced seasoned musicians and talented young upcoming stars. In 2014, the Yaadies officially started their journey, lead by Neville Hamilton, as an extension of his love for family and music he passed down his musical knowledge to his kids; hence a new generation is born with a positive vibration. The Yaadies have performed at many events such as: Summer In The City, BHM Wpg Concert, local festivals and events and they have even toured the Prairies and Western Canada. This extremely dynamic and talented group of singers, writers, and musician play music from multiple genres, but remain true to their Jamaican roots. Yaadies is a Jamaican term that means from yard/hometown/homie/home grown. The Yaadies are proud to represent their Jamaican culture, heritage, and country, not just through their name, but through their music as they inspire, enrich and motivate people from all walks of life. Introducing Yaadies, a vibrant Jamaican family band embodying the essence of their homeland. Led by Neville Hamilton, the eight-member ensemble symbolizes the Yaadies spirit, rooted in their yard, hometown, and homies. Combining youthful talent with seasoned expertise, their dynamic lineup captivates audiences with performances spanning various genres, with a primary focus on reggae - a universal language of unity, freedom, and love.


From electrifying sets at renowned festivals, parks and local events such as Riding Mountain National Park - Canada Day Celebrations - Headliners (2022-2023), Elkorn Resort and Spa (2023), Westman Cultural Festlval (2023), Hilltop IRAL Summer Jam Fest - Headliners (2022-2023), Red River Ex Caribbean Party (2023), Summer and Cultures in the City- Headliners (2015-2023), Soca Reggae Fest (2018-2019), Haniover Ag Days (2018-2020), Zuieke Block Party (2020) and BHM Winnipeg Celebrations (2016-2019). The Band has gained many exposures to perform before large audiences  opening for well re-known international artists such as Luciano, Kymani Marley and Soca Queen Alison HInds.


Yaadies' music transcends borders, spreading the rich cultural tapestry of Jamaica. Their melodies resonate with messages of empowerment, enriching and inspiring listeners worldwide. Through their music, Yaadies proudly represent their Jamaican heritage, leaving an indelible mark on hearts and minds wherever their harmonies soar.
